ZEUS HIGH VOLTAGE BOOST

Through the will of the mighty ZEUS, BLACKHAWK brings you 250 volts of amp input crushing volume.

If you’ve ever tried an amp that has a built in MOSFET boost running at high voltage (usually around 250v!⚡️) you probably thought to yourself “this sounds AMAZING! The headroom articulation and clarity are incredible!”

The touch response, attack and compression are all shockingly tube-like.

The LND150 MOSFET Gain stage is DC coupled with a second MOSFET “source follower” to create both low impedance and high output

The unique “boost converter” power supply was originally designed to power tubes from a low voltage.

It takes in over 200ma of current at 9V and transforms that into almost 250v at low current (only a few milliamps) because of this:

DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING INSIDE THE PEDAL WHILE IT IS PLUGGED IN
*while the current is very low at the higher voltage, it’s still dangerous for people with a pacemaker or heart condition.*

D = Depth. Clockwise becomes tighter and brighter, while counter clockwise becomes thicker to the point of an almost fuzz like saturation at high gain.

🔱 = Gain. At low to mid settings the output is quite transparent but as you crank it the dual, interconnected mosfets start to clip.

V = Volume. Sets the low impedance output for up to 22db clean and over 40db with overdrive.
